[Internet Kida] 12 Amusing Misconceptions We All Had As Kids

These come straight from the days of innocence, when life seemed so convenient and we had our own versions of everything. Have a look at the 12 most hilarious things we believed to be a certain way.

1.  MRF was a cricket bat manufacturing company.

Thanks to Sachin and his bat for making us believe so.

2. Dee Dee of Dexter was didi.

Well, some of us believed that she was Dexter's elder sister and that's the reason she was called Dee-Dee.

3. Anonymous was a person.

Every time we read a poem by anonymous, we thought he must be a great guy because he writes so many poems.

4. The JEE in IIT-JEE was out of respect.

In Hindi, we automatically put "Ji" behind everyone who is worthy of respect. Hence, IIT-JEE.

5. To-let signs were actually toilets.

Many of us went on to believe that to-lets were actually toilets, but people didn't know how to spell them.

6. Swallowing a food seed will make you a plant.

This one was quite scary. We actually thought that if we swallow a fruit seed, a plant will pop out from our head or stomach.

7. North Pole and South Pole were actually poles.

Yes, we believed that and we all wondered what it would be like to be around those poles.

8. Characters died in the movie for real.

Yes, and that made us really sad.

9. Money plant gave money.

Yes, that is why everyone had it planted in their gardens

10. A spider bite could make you Spiderman.

The very thought was exciting enough for us to imagine what life would be like with all those super powers.

11. The sea and the sky really meet.

We used to wonder all the time what it would be like to be there. Will we be on the sea or in the sky?

12. Chorus was a brilliant singer.

Yes, because he was a part of almost every song.
